About Carley

Hi there! I’m Carley McCarra, and I’m a professional Real Estate and Architecture & Interiors photographer.

On New Years Day, 2019, I moved to Seattle from Texas, and I’ve been calling it home ever since. I was drawn to the mountains, outdoor adventure, and friends and family living here at the time. I have embraced the PNW since day one — pursuing careers with Seattle-born companies; initially, seven years at REI managing their Mastercard and Gift Card businesses followed by a chapter at Amazon Fresh leading marketing strategies. Any chance I get, you can find me outdoors, backpacking, camping, or trail running.

Growing up in a family of many architects and real estate agents, my progression into Real Estate and Architecture & Interiors photography has felt natural. I’ve always paid attention to the way a space makes me feel in mood; inspired, relaxed, comfortable. I absolutely love the intersection of how spaces evoke feeling, especially in the moody atmosphere of the PNW.

 It’s important to me to support women-, queer-, and BIPOC-owned businesses, and I welcome all in the LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC communities.
